Focus Scripture: Isaiah 40:28-31

Isaiah 40:28-31 (NLT)
28 Have you never heard?
Have you never understood?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
29 He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
30 Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.
Have you never understood?

What can I say after that?
I almost feel like He is asking, "How can you not rely on me for strength and peace?"
He created the earth and all that is in it. He never is weak or weary. He is all knowing.
Youths and young men get weak tired and fall in exhaustion.
If we trust in Him we will find His strength and overcome the obstacles that stand in the way and we can be used by Him.
Lord, thank you that when I put my trust in You and wait on You, You are my strength. Thank you for the work that is happening right now in El Salvador. Be with our team! Let them rely on Your strength as they give of themselves to you today. Be especially with Dawn DiFelice, Allie Mickel, and Sophia Santo today. Give them Your peace as they give of themselves to You today. Be with the people of El Salvador; open their hearts to receive You. Thank you in Jesus Name.
